Fashion showtime??
Last night was great exposure for DOWN WID IT we held a fashion show at the extremely popular ‘U GOT JOKES’ event down Algate east.
Myself alongside business partners Lauren & Fly boy were interviewed by magazine and said to be the biggest urban fashion event this of this year, FESMAN 2009,
I was also interviewed live on stage to discuss a bit about what DWI actually is and how it all came about.
The night was an overall success and people showed huge interest talking to us asking what was available and where can they buy, we stayed to talk to the crowd and hand out flyers then called it a night.
I’d like to say a big thank you to all the models supplied by the UGJ team and yes we are still recruiting here at DWI for models, Personal Assistants and promoters FEMALES ONLY!! 2000 AND DWi
2008 was a lot for Down wid it, a time to learn, plan, expand and achieve.
Now that’s that out of the way… let the games begin!
Firstly let me tell you about some new additions.
My good friend and hot new recording artist ‘Teezy’ is now board.
Check out his first debut single ‘Take your shoes off”
Myself, Teezy and a small group of friends (I’ll let you know more about them in the future) are now in a collective we call P.U.K (Pin up kidz)
That’s all you need to know for now, but how was your new years though??!!
You know how we get down already and if you don’t, then here it is…
MOBO winner Chipmunk spent new years with us in style.
We had drinks at the pad to kick it all off, taking shots, poppin’ champagne, music, skankin to ‘ghetts sing for me remix’ are you maddd??!!,
later, after feeling a lil head gone, went to a club down North London, where we literally took over the party! Skankin’, bubblin’ whatever you wanna call it, we were doing it!!
And when ‘swagger like us’ came on… jheez! it was mental… felt like a we were doing a PA, UK remix or suttin lol. Chip is a skankers by the way.
We also got into some technical difficulties with a crowd member; which is expected being us, however they didn’t want it so the night ended well.
